On Monday 7th November 2022 we hosted a public meeting at the Hoo Village Hall on Pottery Road.  We were joined by approximately 40 residents whom we gave a presentation to on why the Hoo Peninsula is not suitable for large scale development. We discussed the flaws of the Housing Infrastructure Fund and how current infrastructure is not suitable for the current level of residents and that the HIF additions will still not be suitable. We then had a discussion within the hall listening to their thoughts and ideas, attendees were keen for a follow up meeting, which we will host in the new year.  We have also given a date on the 14th November for when our response to the consultation will be published.
